My story

    Hi! King here! I am a SWEET and goofy boy, patiently waiting for my forever home. I am a very happy dog and love to be with my human and four-legged friends. I live for snuggling in bed and bouncing around in the yard with my toys and my buddies. I'm getting pretty good at playing tug with my foster mom, and I love to chase my toys around like a goober (but I'm not so good at the whole fetch thing). I'm an absolute foodie and will do anything for a treat! I've lived in two foster homes since arriving at Spokanimal, and I've done amazing with both their dogs and kids (ranging from 5 years old to 11)! I am very social and have lots of new dog friends of all sizes and ages.      I was brought to Spokanimal because I have a bit of separation anxiety when left alone. I try to soothe myself by eating things objects and blankets, and eventually gave myself an intestinal blockage from all of the things I ate. I had a BIG surgery to remove these items and I am healed and well now. I will need an adopter that can keep a very close eye on me and keep me safe so that I don't do this again. My foster parents have crate trained me so that I am safe when they leave me by myself. This is something that I will need to continue for the rest of my life!
