Naomi – The Nurturer with a Heart of Gold Naomi is a 6-year-old calico sweetheart with one eye, limited vision, and limitless love. She gets around just fine and lives life like any other cat—but what really makes her special is her nurturing soul. Naomi adores other cats and takes her role as resident groomer very seriously. If there’s a cat nearby, she’ll be right there to clean their ears, smooth their fur, and shower them with affection. She chirps happily while getting pets and will lovingly follow her humans around the house. She’s lived near dogs and is content keeping her distance, so a calm pup roommate would be just fine. But if you’ve got a cat who could use a built-in best friend (and personal groomer), Naomi’s your girl. All adoptable cats have received: Spay/neuter surgery Distemper vaccine Rabies vaccine (if over 16 weeks old) De-wormer and flea prevention medication Veterinary exam Test for FIV and FeLV Microchip ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Submit an application, including the cat's name that you are interested in or description of what you are looking for. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are: - Bring a carrier and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting. - Please be prepared to submit the adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting. - If all goes well, the cat will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the cat. Because we have a limited number of foster homes, we cannot hold cats past adoption. 6.
