My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog F:1Dug – The Big Softie Everyone Falls For ! Meet Dug, a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois who tips the scales at 96 pounds but carries the soul of a gentle, affectionate companion. Don’t let his impressive size fool you—Dug is as sweet as they come. Affectionate & loving: When called, Dug trots right over with a big tail wag, happily leaning into your legs and even weaving around them like a cat. Once you’re down at his level, expect lots of kisses and soft nudges for more attention. Smart & trainable: Dug proudly shows off his “sit,” “down,” and “paw,” and he’s happy to swap a tennis ball for a treat when it’s time to wind down playtime. Active but polite: He loves a good game of chase with a tossed ball and enjoys being in motion, but he’s generally good on leash, with just occasional moderate pulling.
