My story

Are you a foodie looking for a pal with a somewhat adventurous palate? Or perhaps a backyard nature lover, with a yard full of trees and shrubs just teeming with birds and small mammals? If you answered yes to either question, boy are these girls for you! Georgia is a little gray tabby beauty with soft curious eyes and a gentle demeanor. Don’t let her tiny size fool you though, she loves snacks! And not just Temptations… she enjoys freeze dried rabbit, chicken hearts and beef liver treats too. Her palate has a bit of a wild side which she would eagerly continue to explore with you. Georgia, affectionately called “Georgie”, was a bit older when she came into foster care. At first, she was afraid of absolutely everything. But with love and time, she is blossoming into a cute little doll with a curious side. She still has layers that remain undiscovered though. Beneath her quiet and adorable nature, you can tell she wants to love but isn’t quite sure yet. Once she does fully love someone though, and trusts them completely, she will be the cat to give you her whole heart without reservation. June is a stunning tortoiseshell gal with a zest for nature! She spends countless hours watching birds, squirrels and chipmunks on her TV. Her big beautiful eyes are transfixed on the critters zipping around on the screen. June also enjoys wand toys! She’s quite athletic and loves to jump and chase after anything she can. In her spare time, she likes to explore and watch her foster hoomans from a creepy dark corner where all you can see are her little black ears peeking out. When it’s bedtime, June and Georgia like to curl up together in some snuggly blankets. June bug has been in foster care from day one with Georgia and they are a bonded pair. Together, they complement each other purrfectly. Georgia will give you affection and companionship by way of her soul snatching stare as she quietly awaits the giving of treats, and giving you happy tippy toes when getting pets. June will entertain you with her excitement for birds and squirrels, and make you laugh at her antics while chasing a laser pointer or a string. Their bond will help them settle into a new home together, as they continue to grow into amazing cats. All these girls need to become the amazing cats they are destined to be is love, patience and a soft blanket. June and Georgia are currently living with two other cats, one is a crazy little fluffy girl kitten and the other is a super senior male that hated all other cats in his previous life, but amazingly loves his little girls. So they would do well with other cats if looking to expand your collection. They would be ok with a VERY chill dog… like one that would let them sniff him/her without moving a muscle. But they hate my crazy corgi, so high energy dogs are a hard no-go. They have never been around children, but as long as they are mindful that the girls might scare easily if it’s too loud, they would probably do just fine with small humans. If you have read this far and their stories have piqued your interest, purrlease apply to meet them! And if for whatever reason they aren’t a good fit for you, there are countless other kitties looking for their furever homes too. Just reading this means you are opening your heart to finding a new four legged friend or two, and for that I am grateful. DOB: 12/08/2023 All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations. PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes. We do require a completed application prior to setting up a Meet & Greet in a foster home. Complete an application today! https://www.urbancats.org/adopt Si necesitas ayuda en Español, por favor contáctenos a info@urbancats.org. If cats are listed, consider them available. Please do not email or call us asking if they are still available. Visit our website www.urbancats.org/process for additional information about our organization, adoption policies and adoption fees.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Georgia & June, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
