My story

Get ready to fall in love with Velora, a 6-month-old bundle of wiggles, zoomies, and pure puppy joy! This high-energy girl is playful, enthusiastic, and always ready to turn an ordinary day into a tail-wagging good time. Whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring new trails, or just bouncing around the living room, Velora lives life in full wag mode. Velora still learning the ropes when it comes to house training and manners, but don’t worry— she's smart, eager to please, and soaking up new skills like a sponge. With consistent guidance and a little patience, she’ll be your star student in no time. Velora seems that she wouldn't mind children, just remember that she has puppy energy! Velora has previously lived with another dog, so if you're interested in this lady and have a pup friend at home, please set up a dog meet and greet to see if they would be a good fit together! Velora has been spayed and is fully up-to-date on all her vaccines and vet care—she’s healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever home. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and energetic companion who’ll keep you on your toes and fill your days with love and laughter, Velora is your girl. Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
