My story

Meet Luna a 10 month-old, 39 pound Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her ears! This tan beauty had a rough start—she was found alone and scared after being dumped in Kentucky.  Despite her tough beginnings, Luca’s sweet and loving personality is shining through. All she wants is to love and be loved. She’s gentle, affectionate, and eager to form a bond with people of all ages. She is crate and potty trained and extremely smart. While she may be a little shy at first, once she trusts you, she’ll be your most loyal and loving companion. Luna is looking for a patient and caring home where she can feel safe, continue to learn, build confidence, and get all the love she deserves.  Luna would prefer to be your one and only animal. A larger dog could make a good companion but she’s not fond of cats or other small pets.
