My story

If you can foster me please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org If you are interested in adopting me please fill out my adoption application. Hi! My name is Barbie, and I am from Texas! Barbie just raised a beautiful litter of eight puppies and is ready to be her own pup again! From her foster: Barbie is the absolute BEST mother to her 8 puppies. She was very shy/nervous when she first came but once she trusts you she is very very affectionate. She loves to sit in your lap, lean into you, and politely ask for ear rubs (her favorite). She also loves to sunbath and just started to learn about crinkly toys (but otherwise doesn't know much about toys). She hasn't really barked at all but will growl when she sees deer or big trucks nearby. She hasn't been shy with visitors but seems to get along with everyone once she has a chance to warm up. She seems extra nervous with little kids when they run or have dance parties and might nip at their feet. Barbie's biggest challenge is she is really scared of a leash and will need someone to work with her once she is away from her puppies. Barbie is a flight risk so while scare of the leash she would need a very secure fenced in back yard to ensure that she is not able to get out if spooked by a loud noise.
