My story

Venus has every reason to be wary of the world, but her heart? It’s wide open. This approximately 3-year-old pittie girl was found on the side of the Northern State Parkway—thin, lost, and clearly having just given birth. She was confused and searching, likely still looking for her babies. But even after all that heartbreak, Venus greets each new day with the biggest smile and a tail that never stops wagging. Her spirit is nothing short of inspiring. She is affectionate, resilient, and overflowing with love to give. Venus is the happiest girl we’ve ever met. She’s ready to trade in survival for snuggles, confusion for comfort, and heartbreak for a home. She’s not just ready for love—she is love.
