My story

Meet Cassie: The Golden Cat with a Matching Heart! With her beautiful yellow coat, Cassie is just a perfect little nugget of gold. This sweet social butterfly communicates through adorable chirps, trills, and gentle meows when seeking attention or mealtime. Even while recovering from a serious infection, this resilient, loving girl was still asking for pets!  Cassie balances affection and independence, enjoying human company when it’s available but perfectly content to entertain herself if you’re out. She's not much of a lap cat, but she does enjoy lounging beside her people and perching on shoulders. While she’s up there, she may occasionally play impromptu hairdresser and start to groom your hair!  This refined lady prefers drinking from her fountain, as still water is just too boring for her! She would thrive in a quiet home environment similar to her foster home, and would get along well with respectful children. When she needs space, she'll give a gentle warning nibble - her polite way of communicating boundaries. Cassie is comfortably being a solo cat.
