My story

Introducing Luna! Affectionate Loves the Outdoors Playful Snuggly Hi, I’m Luna! I’m a sweet and silly Great Dane with a lot of personality. I absolutely love my humans and always want to be near them—whether that’s helping with outdoor chores or snuggling on the couch. I’m gentle, affectionate, and eager to please. I enjoy short bursts of play, especially chasing toys or chewing on sticks, but I’m just as happy lounging in the grass or keeping you company inside. I live with a male Great Dane and two adult humans and get along well with everyone here. I even handle visits from a tiny, hyper dog like a pro! I’m a little shy with new people and dogs, especially men, but once I’ve had a chance to settle in, I become a total lovebug. I have experience living with children as young as 6 years old, and I’ve also done well with cats. Likes: Cuddling and being pet Chasing toys and chewing sticks outside Supervising yard projects Lounging on the couch or grass Dislikes: Loud trucks and fireworks scare me Nail trims aren’t my favorite—but I’ll tolerate them for peanut butter! I know how to sit, lie down, come, and stay. I’m housebroken and very well-behaved, even when left to free roam. I’m not crate-trained, but I’ve never been destructive. I sometimes pull on leash, but I respond well when you redirect me. I do get anxious when I’m alone, so I’d love a home with structure and plenty of companionship. When my people come home, I get really excited and might jump—but if you let me outside to zoom around, I calm down quickly. I’m in great health with no current issues! Forever Home Wishlist: A home that offers plenty of companionship and understands my need for a routine A patient family willing to go slow with introductions to new people and dogs A fenced yard would be great but isn’t a must A home that appreciates both my playful and snuggly sides Ideally someone who isn’t gone more than 6 hours a day I’d likely do just fine in an apartment too Fun Fact: I can go from zoomies to total couch potato in record time. One minute I’m sprinting in the yard, the next I’m curled up next to you snoring away.
