My story

🐾 Hi there! I’m Wren, heart-stealing wigglebutt! 🐾 Hi friends! I’m wonderful Wren, an adorable 1-year-old female Pit Bull-type mix who weighs about 50 lbs. With amber eyes that sparkle ✨ like morning dew and a tail that never stops wagging, you won’t be able to resist giving me pets when you meet me (I triple dog dare you to try!). And I’ll make it easy for you by flopping over for some belly rubs 🥰. I am equal parts playful, loving, and sweet 💕. My contagious smile, beautiful red and white coat (with white socks to match), and pawfectly heart shaped boopable nose has heads turning from afar! I’m a shelter volunteer favorite and you’ll quickly see why! 🐶 🌞 A pawfect way to start my day is with a sunshine-filled walk with a volunteer friend who gets to see firsthand my many dance moves 💃. I get the wiggles from the tip of my nose to the tip of my tail. But my signature move comes out when I’m in the yard! I start rolling around on my back, 4 legs in the air like I don’t have a care in the world 😎. It’s pure JOY and I know my volunteer pals enjoy it as well. When I’m in the yard, I’m happily prancing around with a tennis ball in my mouth. In fact, it’s the only time you’ll see me without my megawatt smile 😁. I love chasing tennis balls, chomping on them, even going on walks with them with in my mouth — we go together like peanut butter and Kongs! I also enjoy training with delicious treats! I know how to “sit,” go “down,” and I can’t wait to learn even more in my future furever home 🏡. It’s a toss-up between dancing, tennis, balls, and walks, but my most favorite thing in the world has to be belly rubs and pets 💖. I love relaxing next to a volunteer pal and soaking in all the love— it’s a good thing for my future family because I also have endless love to give! I enjoy running the fence line with other shelter doggos and think I’d make a pawsome sister. If you already have a dog, my staff friends will properly introduce us to see if we are comfortable with one another. So, what do you say? Are you head over heels in love yet? This girl with the big heart and even bigger smile can’t wait to meet you! Come and visit today and I pawmise I’ll steal your heart too💘! ## See video of Wren at the end of the photo gallery! ## TVAR.org/find-your-pet-adopt/dogs-puppies/ Wren’s Shelter ID# is 86692. She’s an approximately 1-year-old, red and white, Pit Bull-type mix. She currently weighs 50 lbs. She has already been vaccinated and will be spayed and microchipped before going to her new home. Wren is located in kennel D-3. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). The cost of her spay surgery will be sponsored! ** Age shown is an estimate only ** THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING If you are interested, please call the East County Animal Shelter at 925-803-7040 to see if this dog is still available.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Wren - ECAS, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
