My story

BootsieI am a bit confused as to why I am living at the HSHC when my owner, for one week, decided to surrender me and my friend Chloe. I disagree with her reason — having tapeworms! The medical staff`s testing revealed no worms. She also said I was a `door darter`, which means I enjoyed going outside and enjoyed her technique of getting me back in even more. A can of tuna next to the door! Hey, I`m nobody`s fool! I am a 5-year-old, grey and white girl, already spayed and housebroken. My owner found me as a stray, but I could have told her that I was someone`s pet. I am way too sweet-natured, gentle, friendly, sociable, and affectionate to have been a feral kitty. For example, I enjoy being held like a baby and having my belly rubbed. I am very playful and know how to make anything into a toy. I don`t jump up on counters or tables. Salmon and catnip flavored treats are my weakness. Brush me with a dual-sided brush (one side metal and one side plastic), and I`ll melt in your hands. The interviewer lady (IL) would agree with this 100%. She loved the way I made biscuits in the air while she petted me all over. I lay on my side so she could reach my tummy, and I rested my head on her arm to show her I was a happy cat. She complimented me on my perfect scarf of white around my neck, and little white boots. I think she had a crush on me, cause she kissed my head. The HSHC staff can offer you some tips on how to teach me to avoid the doorway. And I am smart enough to learn quickly!
