Meeka

My story

Introducing Meeka the beautiful girl we recently took in from living outside chained in a pen & what we know about her this far - Meeka 2 years old, 50lbs, lab mix. She is learning crate training and walking on a leash. She is an active dog and wants to be with a person or another dog. She doesn’t seem reactive to other dogs, once she is healed from her spay, we will introduce and she can play. She doesn’t seem phased by cats. She really enjoys kids (our twin nieces are 12 year old girls). She is doing well with house training, she’s had a few accidents first night but otherwise catching on. If she is unattended, she is in her crate. I would not trust her outside by herself at all- in the house, she seems cautious but curious about things. She is scared of fireworks. She eats well and stools are firm again. Her fur is currently thinned and dry skin due to the amount of fleas she has accompanied by itching , her coat will be beautiful in no time We will let her play and take her for more walks, car rides, etc once she heals and has some time to settle in. So far, she’s a young pup with lab energy 🩷 Meeka is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and utd on her prevention Meeka is being fostered in Andersonville TN
