Dutchess

My story

Dutchess and her brother Duke were rescued down in the northwest panhandle of Florida. Their owner went to jail and whoever he left them with dumped them outside to fend for themselves. They were rescued very matted and bony. She has been fully vetted and spayed. She is living with the founder of the rescue( who just adores her). She is extremely chill, gentle and sweet. She is living with 6 other cats and kittens. She loves to be brushed and combed and would make anyone happy. Be aware, long haired cats leave hair everywhere so someone has to be ok with that or regularly get the cat shaved in a lion cut. Ideal owner would have experience with a Persian, Himalayan or other long haired breed. She is being fostered by the rescue owner up here in Thurmont, Md. she has been with our rescue for two months and fed high quality canned food(Tiki cat,Applause and Instinct). She does great on it and would expect her new owner to continue. She is perfect with the litter box so no worries there. Text 845-671-0345 for further instructions on adoption.
