My story

*** Simba is at our Petsmart Aero adoption center. ***Simba #19736: orange tabby & white, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/1/25 Cats: LOVES! Best with playmateDogs: has potential Children: gentle all agesBACKGROUND: Simba and his recently-adopted siblings were born near a home in Idyllwild. When the homeowner realized the mother cat had not returned for several days, she searched and found that she had been killed. She took in the tiny orphans and reached out to The Rescue House; they were bottle-raised in foster care.PERSONALITY: Simba is the cuddle king! Affectionate, expressive, and always seeking closeness, he’ll flop right onto your chest and under your chin… purring deeply and melting into your arms. Simba has always been the leader of the pack: protective, talkative, and watchful of his siblings. He is a deeply social, happy, confident, playful, and human-focused love bug.COMPATIBILITY: Simba is cat-social and thrives with youthful-minded feline companions. We strongly recommend adopting him into a home with a resident feline playmate! He has not met dogs, but his young age and adaptability makes him a good candidate for meeting calm cat-friendly canines. Gentle guided children of all ages are likely fine though he would do best with slightly older kids who understand kitten energy. His strong bond with people is unmistakable: will Simba will be your instant and lifelong companion?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Simba, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
