My story

Muffins is a lively and lovable male brown tabby kitten with a streak of mischief and a heart full of affection. His sleek, striped coat gives him the look of a tiny wildcat, though he`s much more interested in chasing toy mice than actual prey. Muffins has a knack for turning everyday moments into grand adventures, whether he`s scaling the back of the couch like a mountain climber or hiding in laundry baskets like a stealthy explorer. His playful spirit is matched only by his loud, rumbling purrs that start the moment he’s picked up.Despite his energetic antics, Muffins has a soft side that reveals itself during quiet evenings and nap time. He loves to snuggle close, tucking himself under blankets or stretching out across a favorite lap, paws twitching as he dreams. He’s a social kitten who thrives on interaction, often greeting family members with a cheerful chirp or a gentle headbutt. As he grows, Muffins is sure to become not just a beloved pet, but a loyal companion full of charm, character, and endless cuddles.ADOPTION PACKAGE:Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each cat adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, testing for feline AIDS, leukemia, and heartworms, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit card, or money order.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
