My story

Quiet, Affectionate, Beautiful Girl If you hear a ball skittering across the floor, chances are Skittle’s behind it. She loves batting it in and out of her bed and sending it rolling around the room. Skittle also enjoys feathers. Leave one out and she’ll happily entertain herself. Once she feels safe, Skittle becomes a sweet companion. She shows her affection quietly— soft trills, slow blinks, and gentle head nudges that say “I trust you.” She’ll curl up near you on the couch, roll over for belly rubs, and ask (politely) for more scritches when you stop too soon. Sit with her, meet her where she’s at, and you’ll have a calm, loving presence at your side. She enjoys peaceful household exploration—window gazing, blanket burrowing, and scouting out the best hidey holes. These days, she’s spending more time out in the open, cozying up in bedrooms and hanging out near her people. She’s still sensitive to quick movements and loud noises, so she’ll need someone who can read her cues and give her patience when she needs it. She's been super curious about her foster’s cat, but he’s not into her so they haven't actually played. We think she wouldn’t mind an easygoing cat to hang out with, and to show her the ropes in her forever home. Her foster is sending her off to her home with her favorite bed and ball, because home wouldn’t be home without them.
