My story

Frodo is an absolute sweetheart (6lbs soaking wet) who thrives on love and will readily hang out with you on the couch. He's proof positive that great things come in small packages! He loves head scratches and has no issues with other dogs. He's good with kids and is 100% crate trained and housebroken. He walks ok on a leash but we're working on getting him more used to it (just way too hot to go for walks right now). He arrived at the shelter with his brother and was surrendered as a bonded pair but I believe SAPA has decided to adopt them separately. He's not a huge fan of being picked up but doesn't resist, rather he tucks his tail as he's unsure of what's occurring. He has completely grown out of the typical puppy behaviors so although he's active and loves to run and play outside, he's ok with lounging in the living area as well. He's very food motivated and we've yet to find a treat he doesn't like. He is an absolute shadow and will follow you to the ends of the earth if you let him! I'd say after all this little guy has had to endure, he's extremely trusting of humans and will make a great addition to any household! He does tend to howl a bit at night as he's afraid of being abandoned but after a few minutes he quickly settles in for the night and goes right to sleep.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Frodo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
