My story

Bonnie Coco is a female, 3 and a half year old husky/lab mix who weighs 50 pounds.  She is crate and house trained and also knows basic commands such as "sit", "stay" and "come". She is an owner surrender and her previous owners said that she is a sweet, affection-seeking girl who forms a strong attachment to her people.  She loves being around kids and would do best in a home with children and/or other dogs to run and play with.  She has not been around cats and we believe it's best that she isn't placed in a home that has cats.  She craves attention.  Due to her strong love for her humans, she can be clingy at times and display some separation anxiety behaviors (whine, barks) when separated from them, therefore, she will do best in a household where the owners are home a lot and can provide her with a calm, stable environment.   She does need time to warm up to new people as she can be hesitant.  But she will warm up especially if they are calm and gentle around her.  She would love a home where the owners have time to take her on daily walks and/or a fenced in backyard so she can run around. Training: housebroken, crate trained, knows some basic commands: sit, stay, come Estimated date of birth: December 2021 Weight: 50 pounds Medical: vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped Location: Currently with a foster in NJ, and once you are approved to adopt, is available for a meet and greet. If you have any questions please email: friendsforlifeanimalrescue@gmail.com To apply to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/210286667669167 We always need fosters, please join us!  https://form.jotform.com/210257395409155 Many other dogs need our help, please consider donating or sponsoring a dog, if possible. 100% of all money received from adoption fees and donations goes directly back to support saving other dogs and cats in need.  FFLAR is a 501c(3) non-profit.   We appreciate your support! Venmo:  @friendsforlife-animalrescue   OR   Zelle: fflpetrescue@gmail.com To donate monthly, please use this Zeffy link.  Note: Please be aware that the “give tip” on the second step is checked by default.  The tip goes to Zeffy (not to FFLAR) and you can opt to uncheck it.  https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/763f3cec-69ef-4806-96f6-831021b48466?fbclid=IwQ0xDSwL4hbtjbGNrAviFoWV4dG4DYWVtAjExAAEegHYYwrs5iSMcVVCL-43MA3M6nyqs867FuBqqghj5UXZQjQUoL0h2beNQOdI_aem_rFEk_Kbb7rp9XSLUut_hyw September 1, 2025, 2:30 pm
