My story

Meet Peanut a gentle, shy soul with a playful heart who’s slowly learning that people can be trusted. Peanut is still cautious around humans, but he’s come a long way. At first, he’d dart away the moment someone came near but now, he’s beginning to accept affection, especially if you approach slowly and on his terms. He’s even started leaning forward to gently touch noses when perched on his favorite cat climber. It’s clear that he wants to connect he just needs time and patience to get there. While Peanut may be unsure of people, he absolutely loves other cats. He thrives in the company of feline friends and enjoys playing, chasing, and lounging alongside them. He’s also been around calm dogs and is curious but respectful. Peanut isn’t aggressive he never hisses or swats, even when startled. Around his foster mom’s 4-year-old granddaughter, he simply keeps his distance, quietly running off when approached. Peanut has a playful side that shines when he’s chasing wand toys or batting small toys around the room. He loves spending time on the cat climbers and bird-watching from the windows, often making adorable chirping sounds as he observes the world. Treats and mealtime are highlights of his day he’ll eagerly meet his foster mom at the door when it’s time for wet food, waiting patiently for his dish to be placed down. This sweet boy would do best in a calm, quiet home with an adopter who’s willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. Peanut may never be a cuddly lap cat, but with time, patience, and love, he’ll become a loyal and playful companion who will reward you with the deepest kind of trust.
