My story

Meet Gopher, a gentle and independent 1.7-year-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing around 60 lbs. This lovely girl is house-trained, crate-trained, and has wonderful indoor manners—she settles easily in any space and is perfectly content to relax nearby while you go about your day. Gopher is calm, respectful, and friendly with both people and other dogs, though she appreciates when fellow pups respect her space in return. She’s also a great car companion and feels safe and relaxed inside the home, unfazed by indoor noises. Outside, she’s still building confidence with the hustle and bustle of the world, so a quieter environment would be ideal for her. She walks beautifully on leash, especially with a front-clip Halti harness, and enjoys getting out for calm strolls at her own pace. Gopher would thrive in a peaceful, patient home that can continue to support her as she gains confidence.
