Meet Brentley: Your Velcro Pup in Waiting! Brentley’s journey began in Pretty Prairie, where she showed up on someone’s property and never left their side—literally. After sticking close for a few days, the kind soul searched the area for her family, but no one recognized her. Despite being posted on lost pet pages and reported to the Reno County shelter, no one came looking. So now, Brentley is officially a Beauties girl, and she’s ready for her next chapter! Brentley is the definition of affectionate. Her foster lovingly calls her a “Velcro dog” because she wants to be right where her people are, soaking up every bit of love and attention. She’s kennel trained, potty trained, and lives harmoniously with other dogs from 13 to 100 pounds. While she may get a little snippy if startled, she quickly settles and fits in just fine with the pack. With her sleek, soft coat now shining and her adorable spots coming through, Brentley is blossoming into a true beauty. She clearly has hunting dog instincts—she’ll freeze and point like a pro—but loud noises send her bolting back indoors. So while she looks the part, this sweetheart is strictly a lover, not a hunter. If you’re looking for a devoted, cuddly, clingy companion to be your shadow and best friend, Brentley is your girl. She’s ready to stick by your side through it all.
