My story

Minah has truly heart-melting eyes. Looking at her, she clearly hasn’t had the best life. She is skinny and has had multiple litters of puppies, but lucky for her, she just has one more hurdle to get through until she can be safe and happy: finding her forever family. Minah is 3 years old, 36 lbs, and has a gorgeous brindle coat (and cute pointy ears). She is described as “silly, friendly, and wiggly” by staff and loves treats. She is walked by volunteers and loves everyone she meets and greets them with a wagging tail and big smile. Miah came in with other dogs, and participates in daily playgroups, where she likes to play rough and rowdy with her friends. She can be selective with her doggie friends and would like to meet her potential canine siblings before adoption (a requirement with all our adult dogs). Just bring them along and the staff will introduce them!Minah spent the day outside the shelter with a volunteer! Here`s what they have to say about her:`I had so much fun with Minah! We went to Starbucks and got her a pup cup which she really enjoyed. Then we went for a walk which she loved! She is a super good walker and gets excited to go. She was amazing in the car and loved looking through the window. She’s one of the sweetest most obedient dogs I’ve ever met.`Minah is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready for her forever home! Come meet her at KCPP Main Campus today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Minah, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
