My story

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION... FRANKIE is currently in foster care in Houston, The adoption fee includes the transport by Mighty Mutt Shipping if interested there is an application on our website houstonshaggydogrescue.org Frankie is a little heinz 57 mixed breed mutt ..His main breeds are poodle/chihuahua he is approx 3 months old and 12 lbs ,as of July 4th 2025..he will probably be in the 30 to 40 lb +range when fully grown he is a very pretty little pup and has a sweet disposition, he gets along with all of his rescue buddies he loves to run and play in the yard with his toys and to play tug of war.., he loves people and is always at his fosters feet , his tail never stops wagging and he loves to eat !! he will need leash/ harness and house training and would like a fenced in secure yard and a companion/playmate, he is not suitable for an apartment THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 10 years for our puppies. The total adoption fee of $500 ( and includes the required spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip., the interstate health certificate and transport. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at houstonshaggydogrescue.org
