My story

Meet your new favorite flightless birds! Chicken (the elegant tabby) and Rooster (with the dashing black coat) first came to us as tiny kittens straight from Kentucky. Chicken fought an uphill battle with an upper respiratory infection that nearly took her life. We credit her survival to all the love she received and her companionship with her brother, Rooster. She made a great recovery.  Inseparable as kittens, they went home together! Sadly after two years, due to no fault of their own, their family had to give them up. Fortunately they are together in their original foster home together while they wait to find their forever home.  Chicken and Rooster are both curious, sweet, and vocal! Chicken will be your lap cat while Rooster is more of your explorer! Meeting new cats and dogs is a little scary at first, but once adjusted they get along just fine! These sweethearts will do great with gentle children.  Animal is Fostered in: Kenosha  For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines.  Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog;  CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat  - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated.   PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.   Dewormed All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam.  All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources.  Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found!  Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   ##1781695##
