My story

Fauna A17614222 lb. spayed female, approx 9 months old -Happy and wiggly pup!-Walks nicely on a leash-She loves treats, still working on “sit”, and takes them nicely -My squeaker did made her nervous. Once in a while she’s slightly timid.-She’s curious of toys but not sure what to do with them quite yet-When I got all the way down on the floor with her she army crawled over and snuggled up and gave me lots of kisses-Very sweet with a gentle demeanor-Just needs some time and patience to open up fully-I gave her a bath and she did very well-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
