My story

Happy Feet A17615555 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -She loves being close and getting attention above anything else! She’s so very sweet!-She has no interest in treats or toys currently-She will occasionally sit, take a treat nicely before spitting it out-My squeaker and shaking the treat bag made her nervous. She cowered some, then army crawled into my lap and started giving kisses!-Complete lap dog who wants to lay with you all the time-Walks nicely on a leash-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
