My story

Brody A17611178 lb. neutered male, approx 4 years old -Walks very nicely on a leash with minimal to no pulling-Outside he ran around for a minute but then mainly wanted to come sit next to me for attention and pets-He’s very content to be lying with you. Even if you’re not petting him, he’ll just lay there.-He’s affectionate and gives kisses-Enjoys belly rubs-Likes treats, mostly lays when asked to sit, and takes them nicely. Not super food motivated though.-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
