My story

A Tale of 2 Kitties.......Lady is the type of cat who seems completely different when she is out of the shelter. Here at the Humane Society she is sweet for sure but she is also shy and scared, panicking when being picked up. You would never know that she likes to play a lot and is energetic. That much we know from her former foster mom. We also know from her time outside the shelter that she gets along very well other cats and even played a bit with one of the smaller dogs in the home.Lady, who is a 2 year old tuxedo cat, with a lovely shiny coat, was surrendered in early November when her owner had to move to a nursing home. She is completely housetrained and has been spayed. She likes to nip sometimes when she is playing so any children in the home would have to be old enough to understand that.She loves whatever time she can spend out of her cage and really enjoys watching all the activities taking place in our lobby, which she can see from the windows of our visiting room. Lady gets a little skittish when being confronted by loud noises but that`s almost a given when it comes to cats.We hope this sweet and loveable girl soon gets her chance to run and play to her heart`s content. We promise your heart will be content just by having her around.
