My story

Name: PiperBreed: Mixed Breed. I'm not sure what I am. Everyone says I'm really cute though!Sex/Age/Weight: Female/estimated DOB 12/2024/35lbsVetting: Spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention.House trained: Yes, Piper is house trained. Crate Trained: Yes. My crate is my safe space and I will chill in there and am the goodest girl when waiting for my foster Mama to let me out each morning or when she comes home for lunch.Dogs: YesCats: My foster home does not have cats, but since I'm still young I can learn to live with them. Or the rescue can cat test me upon request! Children: So far I've been great with kids. Energy Level: I'm a puppy, so I have puppy energy, but I'm probably more on the medium side. Don't worry though! Even though I sometimes have zoomies and love playing with other pups or running around the yard, I'm also a gentle girl that can chill on the couch or wherever my human is hanging out. Before FAR: My sister Nelli and I were surrendered to a loud scary shelter by our previous owner. I didn't love it there and was very nervous even though the staff loved me and took very good care of me and my sister. Lucky for me my foster mama saw me and Nelli and decided to rescue us! I've come out of my shell since being in a safe quiet home and I keep hearing I'm the sweetest girl.Commands I know: Sit, stay, shake, high five and release. Working on: Walking on the leash and having more confidence in new environments or around new people. I can be a little unsure and timid at first, but once I'm comfortaable I'm sweet as can be and my personality really shines!Things I Like: Playing with my toys and other dogs, running around outside and cuddling with humans. In fact, one of my favorite things to do each morning is cuddle with my foster Mama after she lets me outside each morning! Things that make my humans happy: How sweet I am. When I play with other dogs (it's super cute), my ears that perk right up like little radars on top of my head, and the way I like to paw at people to get their attention (this is how I get snuggles!). My foster Mama also loves my goofy side that shows once I'm comfortable in new situations and apparently other people do too!Ideal Family/Home: I'd do well in a home that can give me lots of love and affection and is willing to continue training me and showing me what it means to be a happy confident dog. I would do best with another fur sibling to play with too! But I can also be your one and only if I need to be.If you are interested in giving Piper a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer.
