Nemo is a 4 month old, 4 pound Chihuahua mix who packs a whole lot of love and personality into his itty-bitty frame. Rescued from the shelter, Nemo wasted no time settling into his foster home— he hopped right into laps, handed out kisses like candy, and let everyone know: he belonged. Nemo starts each day around 7 AM with a full-body puppy stretch and a tail wag that could power a small city. He’s all about morning potty breaks, hearty meals, and then it’s off to explore the world of toys, tail-chasing, and playing with his canine foster siblings (one of whom is about 15 times his size, but try telling him that!). He’s tiny but mighty, fearless but sweet, and somehow both independent and snuggly all at once. Hobbies include: Toy hoarding Tug-of-war championing Occasional fetch (when he feels like returning the ball) Stealthily escaping baby gates with his signature “Houdini” moves Cuddling on laps, the couch, or wherever you happen to be Nemo is a clever little guy who loves being close to his people—he’s a classic “velcro pup” who will happily follow you from room to room or curl up in your lap for a snooze. While he’s still working on his potty training, he’s crate-trained and already getting the hang of outdoor potty breaks (he will give you the “I gotta go” look—you just have to watch for it!). One of Nemo’s cutest quirks? He doesn’t bark! Instead, he’s more of a chatterbox who loves to “talk” when he wants attention or when he’s especially excited. He even stayed calm and quiet through fireworks— total legend. Nemo’s Dream Home: He’d thrive with a family who can include him in their daily adventures and shower him with affection. Because of his tiny size, he could easily go everywhere with you and chill in a doggy backpack when needed. He’d love a friendly dog sibling but would also do great soaking up the spotlight as the one-and-only. In return, Nemo promises to fill your life with joy, laughter, and unlimited puppy kisses. This little dude may be small, but his love is larger than life. July 6, 2025, 11:56 am
