He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.A volunteer writes: In his previous home, Oliver liked to sleep in his carrier. It was his and he felt comfortable and safe doing his own thing in his own little shell. His carrier was a hobby that we've tried to replicate with cubbies and boxes and hopes they will suffice until Oliver gets to be in a carrier again to go to his forever home. We'd still like to learn more about his hobbies, even if they fall more in the independent category. In our efforts to learn a little bit more about dear Oliver, we've learned that he likes treats enough to come forward, but not quite enough to trade for pets.
