My story

Introducing Octavio! He was brought to the shelter on 6/25 because he was on a journey to find his way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So he is on a quick search for that forever home who will keep him safe and secure so he doesn't experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Octavio is only 4 years old and weighs a mere 30lbs. The volunteers describe him as beautiful and sweet, cute, and obedient. We are hoping he is not being overlooked simply because he is small for his size. As they say, great things come in small packages, right? He is also a smart young gentleman as he knows how to sit when he is asked. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 86; his ID is 11431. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please make sure you have the space, time. energy, devotion, patience, and lifestyle to ensure Octavio has the best upbringing possible. Octavio is current on vaccines, already neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Octavio is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
