My story

Hi, my name is Moira and I am one of the "Handmaids Tale" litter! I am a GDS/Pittie mix with beautiful brown eyes. I love to run and play with my siblings and foster brother. I love treats and toys. I also like to play tug with my foster brother. I am a sweet gal with just a touch of sass, which makes me just perfect. If you're looking for a cutie with a spunky side, I'm your girl!! I am currently working on crate training, house breaking and some basic commands - I already know "sit"! I also do really well on my leash for my age. I am still pretty young and I am learning all about good manners. Please understand that while I am doing well on potty and crate training, I'm still a baby and will have accidents and may whine some as I adjust to my new schedule and family. ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 4/20/2025 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes - a male dog in the home is required for socialization CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM ALMOST READY TO GO HOME - My appointment to be spayed is July 17th! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. IF YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION OR ARE NOT YET READY TO PROCEED PLEASE APPLY WHEN YOU ARE.*** INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
