My story

Currently being fostered in Hanover, PA Meet Sasha Bear Sasha Bear is a vibrant, playful pup with a big heart and even bigger energy. She’s athletic, curious, and endlessly entertaining - an ideal sidekick for someone who loves to stay active and have fun. Energy & Personality This girl is fast - agile, energetic, and always ready for adventure. She’d thrive with a family that enjoys being outside, whether it's hiking, running, or just playing in the yard. Her athleticism and enthusiasm make her a great candidate for dog sports like canicross or agility. When she’s not in motion, she’s snuggling up or shadowing her humans, always with a tail wag and a goofy smile. Training & Behavior Sasha is still learning the basics, including house training, but she’s doing well on a schedule and just started working with a doorbell for potty alerts. She’s also in her chewing phase, so chew toys are a must. Her nose is incredible - she can sniff out hidden kibble in the grass like a pro and has been known to find long-lost treats in places she technically shouldn’t reach! Social Life Sasha loves other dogs, especially ones that can match her playful energy. She’s very vocal during play and brings a lot of joyful spirit to group settings. She’s curious about smaller animals and has been learning to keep her focus elsewhere. She’s made great progress and would do best in a home with another fun-loving dog or as a solo pup with lots of enrichment and attention. Quirks & Special Traits She’s got a nose for adventure - literally! Sasha shows strong scenting and tracking instincts. Her traits line up closely with scent hound breeds like the Treeing Tennessee Brindle. She’s clever, eager, and always ready for a challenge or a puzzle. Best Home Fit Sasha is looking for an active, dog-savvy home where she can thrive physically and mentally. A fenced yard, lots of playtime, and maybe even a dog buddy would be perfect. She’s a dog who wants to be engaged and loved - and she’ll return that love tenfold. Veterinary Care - Health certificate from recent vet visit - Up to date on vaccinations - Spayed - Microchipped - On heartworm prevention - Flea/tick prevention - Dewormed

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sasha Bear, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
