My story

If you’re looking for a dog who’ll crash into your life like a wrecking ball… Roux is not your girl. She’s more of a quiet “hello” than a big entrance. Shy at first, with a look that says, “I’m not sure about you yet, but I’m willing to be convinced if you have snacks.” Once she decides you’re her person (which may or may not be based entirely on how good your lap looks), prepare for a total love bug. Roux is cuddly to her core, the kind of dog who turns into a weighted blanket with ears. She’s sweet as pie, but without the sticky clean-up or calories. Unless you drop food. Then she’s helpful. Roux doesn’t need much, just a few friends in the home, a cozy bed, and someone who doesn’t mind being gently stared at while they eat. She’s a low-drama, high-snuggle kind of gal, and if you’ve got a soft spot for the shy ones with hearts of gold? Roux is already halfway in love with you. Come meet her. Bring treats. Or a blanket. Bonus points if it’s both.
