My story

Meet Sqoobi! This lovable, loyal sidekick is ready to be your constant companion—whether you`re on the couch, in the kitchen, or heading to the bathroom, Sqoobi is right there with you! He bonds quickly with his person and thrives on being near his favorite human.Sqoobi is a curious little guy who loves to explore every open cabinet and is always down for a game of fetch or a good toy chase. He`s especially fond of water… when it’s spraying from a hose (just not for bath time!). He`s crate trained and doing well with potty training, especially with a consistent routine. He seems to have been puppy pad trained in the past and will sometimes use a towel or blanket, so he’s still learning the rules of outdoor potty breaks. This sweet pup does have a touch of separation anxiety, but once he settles, he’s happiest curled up next to you. He’s learning to slow down at mealtime—he’s very food motivated and not picky at all!Sqoobi lives with a large resident dog, whom he mostly ignores, but he does show some resource guarding with toys and food, so slow introductions and management are recommended. He’ll alert you with a bark if someone pulls into the yard and gets a kick out of chasing deer and birds that dare to enter his space! He can be a little overexcited coming out of his crate and may accidentally scratch in his enthusiasm, but he means well and just needs a little patience and continued guidance. If you’re looking for a shadow, a snuggle buddy, and an all-around fun companion, Sqoobi may be your perfect match!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sqoobi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
