My story

Andreina aka "Roxie" is in a foster home and available for adoption! To apply, just click the button above. Roxie is a happy young pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She's been exposed to dogs, cats, men, women, and children during her time in foster care and has done well with all! She enjoys trying to play with the resident senior dog in her foster home—who tolerates her bursts of energy for a bit—so she would love a home with another dog who can keep up with her. Roxie also does just fine with the cats, respectfully listening to their corrections and letting them relax nearby without bothering them. When it comes to people, Roxie is a social butterfly—so far, no one’s a stranger! She absolutely loves getting attention from both men and women. She’s also great with kids and really enjoys spending time with her foster family's 2-year-old daughter, soaking up kisses and pets. She would probably do really well with older kids who can help teach her how to behave and learn her commands. Roxie has a medium energy level—a good mix of couch potato and adventure buddy. She’s not yet housetrained, but with consistent guidance and routine, she’ll get there. She would thrive in a home that can offer her love, structure, and playtime—especially one with another active dog. After a day of fun, all Roxie wants is a comfy couch to crash on and lots of snuggles.
