My story

Meet Bailey! She is a 9-month-old, 25lbs Dachshund (?) mix who was recently surrendered—not because of anything she did, but because her previous owner had to move and couldn’t take her along. It’s a heartbreaking situation, especially since Bailey is such a sweet and lovable girl. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up. Once she does, you’ll have a loyal friend by your side! Bailey has experience living with kids, cats, and other dogs and has done well with them all. She's never been leash trained, is still working on house training and hasn’t had any crate training yet, so she’ll need a patient home willing to help her learn the ropes. But she’s smart, eager to please, and with a little guidance, she’s sure to catch on quickly. Bailey isn’t quite ready to go home just yet—she’s scheduled to be spayed early next week and will be available for adoption starting Wednesday.
