My story

Introducing Isabel! She was brought to the shelter on 6/28 along with her mom, Kandy because their former pet parent was arrested. So now Kandy and Isabel are looking for that stable forever home where they can feel secure and safe so they never have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Isabel is only 6 months old and weighs a mere 42.5lbs. The volunteers describe her as sweet, cute, obedient. Isabel is a little on the thin side but with a proper diet and TLC and patience she will be as good as new! She is also a smart young lady as she knows sit when asked. She and Kandy love their toys!! She is food motivated so make sure to have plenty of treats on hand with you! They are also good with kids! Please take some time and visit with her in Run 56; her ID is 11508. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Please keep in mind puppies are a lot of work and commitment. Make sure you have the space and time to make sure Isabel grows up properly. When choosing a forever pup, please make sure you have the space, time, energy, devotion, love, patience, and lifestyle to ensure Isabel's has the best upbringing possible. If you have enough room in your heart and home for both girls, they would be forever grateful to you. Isabel is current on vaccines, will be spayed and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Isabel is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
