My story

This big, lovable pup is still learning the ropes and will thrive with continued behavioral training. As a young bulldog, he’s full of energy, curiosity, and classic bulldog stubbornness—he listens when he’s focused and has already mastered “sit” when he’s paying attention! He’s best suited for a more experienced bulldog handler—someone who understands the breed and can offer lots of patience, structure, and consistency. He’s not quite ready to be a family dog yet, so a home without children (teens ok) is recommended while he continues to grow and learn. He’s working on boundaries and improving every day, but like many young dogs, he can become overly excited or anxious, which may lead to jumping or humping. Having treats on hand for redirection works wonders. He can be startled by loud noises or harsh tones, so a calm but confident approach is key. A secure yard, engaging toys, and a soothing environment will go a long way in helping him feel safe and settled. While he’s currently in a multi-dog home, we believe he would do best with one or two calm, easygoing dog companions. No cats, please. He’s a work in progress, but with the right person by his side, he has so much potential to become a wonderful companion!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Georgie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
