My story

Personality: playful, goofy/funny, adventurous, adaptable, and outgoing. Meet Electra, who’s as full of spark as her name! This social butterfly is so friendly and playful — she meets new friends enthusiastically on walks and would love play dates with other dogs. If her friends are occupied, she happily amuses herself with toys and sniffing around the yard. Electra is doing great with house training and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She also settles quickly in her crate, whether you’re popping out for an errand or tucking her in for a peaceful night’s rest. This smart girl adapts easily to new routines and is a quick study — she’s learning to play fetch and would love to hone her commands with a fun obedience class. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained. Not Ready to commit to adopting yet?
