Like a true gentleman, he doesn’t rush into relationships—he takes his time, gets to know you, and once he decides you’re cool? Boom. You’ve got a lap dog for life. He’s the kind of pup who knows the value of a good cuddle, a soft blanket, and a peaceful home where he can be his sweet self. 🛋️ Lap Dog Level: Expert – Once he warms up, he’ll be your personal space heater and couch confidant. 🐾 Dog-Friendly – Gets along well with other pups and has zero interest in starting drama. 👧 Kid-Tolerant – Totally fine with respectful kiddos who understand that small dogs = delicate royalty. 🚽 Bathroom Flexibility – Whether it’s outside or pee pads inside, Drake’s got options. He’s a “classic Chihuahua,” according to his foster mom—which means he's got a tiny bit of ‘tude, a whole lot of loyalty, and big opinions in a little body. But honestly? That’s part of his charm. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
