🐾✨ Pup Spotlight of the Day - Capper!✨🐾Hey, I’m Capper, your future favorite sidekick. I’m a one-year-old pittie/boxer mix with one fabulous floppy ear and full-grown at 42 pounds of wiggle, bounce, and pure good boy energy. I’ve been told I’m the perfect combo of playful and polite. I’ve also been told I’m ridiculously handsome…but I’m way too humble to say that myself. 😉I love to trot around with a smile on my face and a pep in my step. I’m not one of those dogs who needs constant attention...I just like to know you're near, maybe toss a toy or give me a scratch behind the ear. I’ve got personality for days, but I’m not clingy. Basically, I’m the dog version of a low-maintenance best friend who’s always happy to see you.But here’s the part that’s hard for me to say:I’ve been waiting, and I don’t know why here.I’m a good boy. I’ve got so much love to give. I’d be such a loyal companion to someone who sees me for the sweet soul I am. But the shelter’s full -- full of puppies, full of dogs, full of noise -- and I’m starting to wonder if anyone will ever choose me. Please come meet me. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200.
