🎾 HI I’M DRACO!!! 🎾Yes, I’m yelling. Because I’M SO EXCITED YOU’RE READING ABOUT ME!!! 🐾💥I’m a 1-year-old, 70-pound black Lab with energy for days. When I bust outta my itty-bitty kennel (finally), I’m like 🚀ZOOM!!! I’ve been stuck in that tiny space for way too long and I just have to stretch my legs and tell the world HELLOOOO.But once I hit the yard? Ohhh buddy. I chill out. I get my ball. I splash in the water. I smile real big. 😁 I’m actually a really good boy once I’ve had a chance to run and get the wiggles out, but hopefully y'all don't know what it's like to have energy to burn while being cooped up in a small run for weeks. It's pretty tough on pups like me.I LOVE FETCH. I LOVE WATER. I LOVE PEOPLE. I just need someone who gets that I'm not my best self behind those kennel bars. I don’t show well in there. (Sorry.😥 I'm just desperate for a break.)I dream about a home with a yard, or a human who takes me on walks, hikes, or trips to the park. I’d make a GREAT workout buddy. I will motivate you. I will cheer you on. I will carry your water bottle in my mouth if needed. (Okay maybe not, but I’ll try.)Please come meet me. Give me a chance to show you the real me. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200.
