My story

Erin is a gentle and friendly girl who’s been nothing but kind and cooperative during her time with us. Erin also enjoys light playtime, especially with a tennis ball or squeaky toy, but she prefers short sessions and a calm environment. She’d likely thrive in a quiet, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. She lived peacefully with another dog before, so she may enjoy the company of a calm, respectful canine friend. If you have another dog in the home, we highly recommend a dog-to-dog be done here at the shelter to ensure they will be a good match for each other. We think Erin would do best in a home without young children, where she can relax and feel safe. She came in with another lovely dog named Calli (A0058738721), and while they’re not a bonded pair, we’d love to see them go home together if you have room in your heart and home for two. What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
