My story

Name, age: Jersey, 2 years Likes: Jersey enjoys doing her own thing, whether that’s lounging in her bed or exploring her surroundings at her own pace. She also appreciates the occasional head scratch and will let you know with a soft meow when she’s ready for some attention.Dislikes: UnknownWhat would be the ideal home? Jersey’s ideal home would be a quiet, calm environment with patient people who understand that love takes time. She’d do best with adults or older children who can respect her need for space as she settles in. A home without a lot of hustle and bustle would help her feel safe and confident.Good with other cats? Unknown Good with dogs? UnknownGood with children? UnknownPersonality: Chatty, independent, adventurous, affectionate How long will it take to settle into a new environment? 2-4 weeks Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? See below Suspect Horner`s Syndrome - As the syndrome is not progressive, it is likely to be stable and no further treatment required. Should you notice the current signs worsening or the animal developing different sized pupils, lameness or pain, contact your regular veterinarian.Obesity: You should feed no more than the calorie requirement per day to allow for weight loss until an ideal body condition is achieved. Consult your regular veterinarian to discuss a safe exercise program for this pet. It is strongly recommended to seek assistance from your regular veterinarian to help with weight loss in your pet.If you think Jersey is the one for you - fill out an application at Pet Valu Kingston Centre at 1036 Princess St, Kingston!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jersey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
