Meet Chloe: 4 Pounds of Pure Pocket-Sized Princess 👑🐾 At just 4 pounds, Chloe is basically the size of a burrito—only much cuter and way more snuggly. This 7-year-old Chihuahua may be teeny tiny, but she’s got a heart big enough to steal yours (and probably your spot on the couch). She starts off a little shy—think “first date jitters”—but once she feels safe, Chloe transforms into a total lovebug. Bonus: her adorable little tongue is always peeking out, like she’s constantly mid-sass or just heard some juicy gossip. Chloe's Ideal Vibe: • ✅ Loves other dogs—especially the ones who don’t tower over her like giants. She’d thrive with another small doggy friend to help her feel secure. • ✅ Cat-approved and kid-tolerant—as long as the kids are more “gentle pat” than “tiny tornado.” Respectful kiddos 6+ would be great; toddlers still learning the art of boundaries? Not so much. • ✅ Potty pro—She’s pee pad trained and will go outside like a lady… but due to her itty-bitty size, she must be closely supervised outdoors. (Birds have looked at her and said, “I could carry that.”) In a nutshell: Chloe is sweet, dainty, and has the kind of charm that sneaks up on you. She's looking for a calm, cozy home with gentle humans, maybe a small dog buddy, and zero chance of being picked up by a hawk. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
