My story

Attie is the tiniest puff of sunshine with a personality that’s twice her size. Born around May 3, 2025, and currently weighing just 7 pounds, she’s a pint-sized bundle of joy who may or may not be part cloud, part cat, and part sass. With her soft fur and expressive little face, she’s the kind of puppy who makes people stop mid-sentence just to squeal, “Oh my gosh, look at her!” We’re guessing Attie is a Sheltie mix, possibly with a smaller breed tossed in the gene pool for extra cuteness. Whatever the mix, the result is 100% adorable. She has a playful pounce that would make any feline proud, and she’s got a habit of tapping her humans with her paws like she’s saying, “Excuse me, more attention please.” Attie is your classic puppy: energetic, curious, and always up for fun. She’s working hard on her potty pad training and already impressing her foster mom with how often she gets it right—earning extra gold stars (and treats) along the way. Attie is friendly to everyone she meets, including her bearded foster uncle who she immediately adored, proving she’s brave and social with a heart full of trust. She loves other dogs and is hopeful her foster sisters will eventually come around and join in her playful antics. While she can speak up from time to time, Attie is mostly a quiet little girl—except a few occasions where she really wants to be with you. Full of sugar and spice, she’s got the perfect balance of sweet affection and spirited spunk. Whoever brings this little fluffball home better be ready to fall in love—because Attie is irresistible. Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
