My story

Adoption Day: July 19th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun! Cabinet Battle (we call him Green) is an adorable baby Great Pyrenees!  He is about 4 months old, crate trained, (almost) housebroken, sleeps through the night and is an all around sweetheart!  This puppy gets along with all the other pups in the house and is respectful of older dogs! He is going to be a gentle giant that sheds a LOT! He loves to play and sleep and play and sleep some more. He is always hungry as he is a growing boy so we use a puzzle bowl to slow him down and give him small meals 3 times a day. As he is just a young baby, he really needs an older dog to continue teaching him the ropes. He also NEEDS to have a fully fenced (5-6' is ideal) yard as Pyrenees love to wander. An ideal forever home will also have a Work From Home parent or Puppy Day Care as he cannot hold it or be alone all day long. Pyrenees are bred to protect livestock.Your family will become his flock and he will protect you with his large bark, right now he is quiet but the bark will come as he matures. A solid fence is ideal so he can't see all the action on the other side. Please research the Great Pyrenees traits before adopting as this breed is beautiful but not for everyone.  Pyrs DO NOT fetch. Pyrs DO NOT (usually) come when called. Pyrs ARE nocturnal and can bark in the nighttime. Pyrs DO snuggle on the couch but area also aloof.  They are protective of their humans so introduce new dogs and people slowly. ##2446719##
